  • 2 cups Vegetables (potatoes, carrots, and your favorite fall produce) Chop into bite-sized pieces.
  • 4 cups Broth or stock Use vegetable, chicken, or beef broth for added flavor.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Toast for better flavor if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon Rosemary Fresh or dried, depending on availability.
  • 1 tablespoon Thyme Fresh or dried, to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prep your protein by seasoning it with salt, pepper, and your chosen herbs.
  2. Chop your veggies into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Layer the veggies at the bottom of the crockpot, then add the protein on top.
  4. Pour in enough broth to cover everything.
Cooking
  1. Cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours, depending on your time crunch.
