Preparation
- Rinse and trim the green beans.
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy.
- Remove the bacon and chop into pieces.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until translucent.
- Add the green beans and chicken broth to the skillet; bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the beans are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir in the chopped bacon before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove.
