Preparation
  1. Rinse and trim the green beans.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  3. Remove the bacon and chop into pieces.
  4. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until translucent.
  5. Add the green beans and chicken broth to the skillet; bring to a simmer.
  6. Cover and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the beans are tender.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Stir in the chopped bacon before serving.

Notes
