  • 2 tablespoons butter Can substitute with vegan butter for a vegan version.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Do not let the garlic burn while sautéing.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • to taste Lemon juice Optional for added zest.

Preparation
  1. In a pot of boiling water, blanch the green beans for 2-3 minutes until they turn bright green. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until it becomes fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Cooking
  1. Toss the blanched green beans into the skillet and mix well to coat them in the garlic butter.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, and a splash of lemon juice if desired.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy every bite!

Notes

These green beans can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days. Reheat in a skillet before eating. Fresh is ideal but frozen green beans can also be used; adjust blanching time as needed.
