Preparation and Roasting
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread the trimmed green beans on the baking sheet.
- Toss with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper until everything is evenly coated.
- Arrange the green beans in a single layer and sprinkle parmesan evenly over the top.
- Roast for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly crispy and the beans are browned but still crisp-tender.
- Remove from the oven, finish with lemon juice and parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet to avoid soggy beans. Fresh ingredients make a difference! Consider experimenting with additional vegetables like cherry tomatoes or bell peppers for variety.
