Preparation
- Wash and trim the green beans. Peel and cube the potatoes.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon drippings in the skillet.
- Add the potatoes to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they start to soften.
- Stir in the green beans and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix over the mixture and add butter or olive oil. Stir well to combine.
- Cover and cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
- Crumble the cooked bacon on top before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat on stovetop or microwave. Adding more bacon when reheating is always a delicious option!
