Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 1 pound green beans Trimmed and washed
  • 2 medium potatoes Peeled and cubed
Flavorings
  • 4 slices bacon Cook until crispy
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil For extra flavor

  • to taste pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and trim the green beans. Peel and cube the potatoes.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon drippings in the skillet.
  2. Add the potatoes to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they start to soften.
  3. Stir in the green beans and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix over the mixture and add butter or olive oil. Stir well to combine.
  5. Cover and cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Crumble the cooked bacon on top before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat on stovetop or microwave. Adding more bacon when reheating is always a delicious option!
