Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Rinse the green beans well, trim the ends, and dry them thoroughly.
- Toss the green beans in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
- Grate the Parmesan cheese over the beans and toss lightly.
- Spread the green beans on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.
Cooking
- Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove from the oven. Optionally sprinkle with lemon zest or additional Parmesan before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes to restore the crunch. Don't overcrowd the baking sheet to keep the beans crispy. Experiment with different cheeses and add red pepper flakes for heat.
