  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt + pepper
  • 1/2 cup parmesan, freshly grated (parmigiano-reggiano recommended)
  • 1/2 a lemon juice
  • 1-2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (to garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss the green beans on the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, minced garlic, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the beans out in an even layer.
  4. Sprinkle the grated parmesan over the beans evenly.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until they are light brown and fork-tender with a satisfying crunch.
  2. Remove from the oven and drizzle with freshly squeezed lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  3. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed before serving.
