Preheat & Prep
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
Mix the Ingredients
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Stir in oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Fold in the diced apples and nuts if you’re using them.
Bake
- Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Pop it in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
Serve
- Let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy it warm, or refrigerate and reheat for an easy breakfast option.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to a week and are easy to reheat. Adding a sprinkle of cinnamon and a drizzle of maple syrup elevates the dish.
