  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced Fresh garlic adds more flavor.
  • 2 tbsp salted butter Can be substituted with olive oil for a vegan option.
  • 1 tbsp honey For a vegan option, substitute with maple syrup.
  • to taste Salt Adjust according to preference.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil on the stovetop. Add the green beans and boil for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Remove the green beans from the pot and plunge them into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
  3. Pat the green beans dry with paper towels.
  4. In a large skillet or pan, add cooking spray over medium-high heat. Once hot, toss in the blanched green beans and sauté for 3-5 minutes until they get slightly blistered and browned.
  5. Reduce the heat to low. Add the butter, honey, and minced garlic cloves, mixing everything together.
  6. Sauté for another 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant, then season with salt and pepper.
  7. Plate those irresistible beans and enjoy!

Notes

These green beans can be stored in the fridge for about 3-4 days in an airtight container. Warm them up with a little butter or oil to retain juiciness.
