  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup fried onion rings
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, crumbled bacon, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fold in the green beans until well coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with fried onion rings.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  2. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with warm crusty bread and consider drizzling balsamic glaze over for extra flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven when ready to serve.
