  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 150 g bacon, chopped Adds a savory depth, can substitute with smoked sausage.
  • 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For frying and flavor.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until crispy.
  2. Toss in the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until soft and fragrant.
  3. Stir in the diced potatoes and green beans.
  4. Pour in the broth and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 20-25 minutes, until the veggies are tender.
  6. Adjust the seasoning as needed and serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
