Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
- Place sliced onions at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Layer the meatballs on top of the onions.
- Pour French onion soup over the meatballs.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once done, garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in chopped garlic or herbs. Allow meatballs to cool before storing to maintain their shape.
