Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Heat-treated for safety
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk More if needed for consistency
Mix-ins
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Optional, but highly recommended

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  2. Add the softened butter, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Mix together until a dough forms.
  4. If the dough feels too dry, add milk one tablespoon at a time until you reach your ideal consistency.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
  6. Serve and enjoy right away!

Notes

Refrigerate for up to a week or freeze in dollops for up to a month. Heat the flour for added safety.
