  • 1 box Vanilla pudding mix Follow package instructions for preparation.
  • 2 cups Milk Use to prepare the pudding.
  • 4 cups Ripe bananas Use for layering and garnish.
  • 1 box Vanilla wafers Use for layering.
  • 1 cup Whipped cream For topping.
Optional Garnish
  • 1 cup Sliced bananas For garnish, optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the vanilla pudding according to the package instructions using milk.
Assembly
  1. In a trifle bowl or 9 x 13 pan, layer vanilla wafers.
  2. Add a layer of sliced bananas.
  3. Top with a layer of prepared pudding.
  4. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used up, finishing with pudding on top.
  5. Top with whipped cream and garnish with additional banana slices if desired.
Chilling
  1. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set before serving.

Notes

Use fresh bananas for the best flavor. Allow pudding to firm before layering to prevent mushiness. For added crunch, consider adding chopped nuts.
