  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips Melt before mixing.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Use maple syrup for vegan version.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse and cook the quinoa according to package instructions.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked quinoa, melted dark chocolate, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt.
  4. Stir until everything is well combined.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until crispy.
  7. Let cool, then break into pieces and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container for about a week. They can be frozen for up to three months. Re-crisp in the oven if needed.
