  • 12 oz frozen ravioli
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef or sausage over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a slow cooker, spread a layer of meat sauce on the bottom.
  4. Add a layer of frozen ravioli followed by a layer of mozzarella and ricotta cheeses.
  5. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of sauce and mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the ravioli are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your cheesy, comforting dish!

Notes

For serving, pair with a side of salad and a sprinkle of fresh basil for added flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
