Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In another bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla and eggs until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced about 2 inches apart.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden but the centers look soft.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra chewy cookies, store them in the fridge. For longer storage, freeze them tightly wrapped.
