Ingredients
  

For the Casserole
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz can
  • 1/2 cup milk Can be substituted with almond or oat milk for a dairy-free version
  • 1 can green beans 14.5 oz, drained
  • 1 1/3 cups French's crispy fried onions Divided into halves
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
  3. Add the green beans, half of the crispy fried onions, black pepper, and soy sauce (if using). Mix everything well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25 minutes or until heated through.
  2. Remove from the oven and sprinkle on the remaining crispy fried onions.
  3. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the onions are golden brown.

Notes

Serve straight from the oven for maximum appeal. Pairs well with roasted turkey or steak for a festive feel, or with grilled cheese for casual dinners. To store, refrigerate for 3-5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
