  • ¾ C melted butter
  • 5 cans cut green beans, drained Fresh beans aren’t necessary for this recipe.
  • 1 ½ tsp. garlic powder Fresh garlic can be used as an alternative.
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped Feel free to use more bacon for extra flavor.
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce Worcestershire sauce can be used instead if necessary.
  • C light brown sugar Adjust amount for less sweetness if desired.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
Mixing and Assembling
  1. Whisk together the brown sugar, melted butter, soy sauce, and garlic in a separate bowl.
  2. Place the green beans into the greased baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the chopped bacon over the green beans.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the green beans and bacon.
Baking
  1. Bake for 40 minutes.

Notes

Serve in a fancy bowl or directly from the baking dish. These beans pair well with grilled meats, holiday dinners, or casual weeknight meals. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
