Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb meat (chicken, beef, or turkey)
  • 4 cups broth (chicken, beef, or vegetable)
  • 2 cups chopped veggies (carrots, potatoes, or your faves)
  • 1 cup canned tomatoes (diced) Crushed tomatoes can also be used.
  • 1 tbsp herbs (thyme or oregano)
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chop your veggies and throw them in the crockpot.
  2. Add your meat on top of the veggies – no need to brown it beforehand!
  3. Pour in the broth and crushed tomatoes.
  4. Toss in the herbs along with salt and pepper.
  5. Secure the lid and set it on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Savor the smell wafting through your home as dinner approaches!

Notes

Most soups can be stored in the fridge for about 3-4 days and freeze beautifully for up to 3 months. For storing, allow to cool fully before transferring to airtight containers.
