Ingredients

Yogurt Mixture
  • 1.5 cups chopped strawberries Use fresh strawberries for best flavor.
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt Let yogurt sit at room temperature for creamier texture.
  • 1 tbsp honey Adjust to taste for sweetness.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Coating
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Use dark chocolate chips for a vegan option.
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil Butter or vegetable oil can be used as substitutes.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix together chopped strawberries, plain Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  2. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet to form clusters.
  3. Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze until completely solid, about 1-2 hours.
Chocolate Coating
  1. Melt the chocolate by combining chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 15-30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted.
  2. Remove yogurt clusters from the freezer and dip each one into the melted chocolate using a spoon for thorough coating.
  3. Return the coated clusters to the prepared baking sheet. Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top.
  4. Return the clusters to the freezer for a few minutes to harden the chocolate.

Notes

Store clusters in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months. For added flair, try using raspberries or blueberries instead of strawberries.
