Cooking Steps
- Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. In the same pan, heat remaining oil over high heat.
- Cook chicken in batches until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Add garlic to the pan and cook briefly. Return green beans to the pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, honey, and soy sauce.
- Mix cornstarch with water in a separate bowl.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture over chicken and green beans. Cook briefly, then whisk in cornstarch mixture.
- Bring to a boil and cook until the sauce thickens, stirring constantly.
- Serve hot over rice.
Notes
For extra crunch, sprinkle some sesame seeds on top. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
