Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them out.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let them cool on wire racks before enjoying.
Notes
For extra chewiness, use more brown sugar. Chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking for better texture. Don't overbake!
