  • 4 oz cream cheese Softened for easier mixing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For topping
  • 2 whole eggs Large eggs
  • ½ cup heavy cream For richness
  • 1 tsp paprika Adds flavor
  • Salt and pepper To taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain the excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream cheese, paprika, salt, and pepper until melted and smooth.
Assembly
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream.
  2. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased baking dish, and then pour the egg mixture over the top.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly across the surface.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until set and golden.
  2. Let it cool slightly, then garnish with parsley or green onions.

Notes

This casserole keeps well for up to 4 days in the fridge. For freezing, it can last up to 3 months. Thaw and reheat slowly for the best results. Don't skip the browning step for better flavor.
