Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, mix browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until combined.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
