Preparation
- Chop the banana into 1-inch pieces and freeze for at least 1-2 hours, preferably overnight.
Blending
- Toss all your ingredients into a food processor fitted with a standard S blade.
- Blend for 2-4 minutes, and scrape down the sides as needed.
Serving
- Once the mixture is smooth and creamy, scoop it into bowls, add your favorite toppings, and enjoy immediately.
Notes
If you have leftovers, store the smoothie in the fridge for up to 24 hours, but add toppings just before eating to avoid sogginess. You can also prep the smoothie base ahead and freeze it.
