Main Ingredients
  • 1 large ripe banana (mashed) Use well-spotted bananas for peak sweetness.
  • 1 cup almond flour or oat flour Oat flour can be used for a heartier texture.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon or vanilla extract (optional) Add for extra flavor.
Optional Coating
  • coconut sugar, cinnamon, or shredded coconut For rolling the warm donut holes.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) or prepare your air fryer. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the banana in a medium bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the almond flour (or oat flour) and cinnamon (if using). Stir until a soft, sticky dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch wide. If it's too sticky, wet your hands slightly.
Baking
  1. Place the balls on the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes or air-fry for 8–10 minutes, until slightly golden.
  2. Optional: Roll the warm donut holes in a mixture of cinnamon and coconut sugar or shredded coconut.
Serving
  1. Let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy these bites warm or at room temperature.

Notes

These treats can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days in an airtight container and in the freezer for up to 3 months. Microwave for a warm snack.
